Room Reservation
If you are MIT faculty or an MIT student / student group wanting to reserve one of the spaces in Building N52, 3rd floor (Garage and Courtyard spaces, or Conference room), please send a request via MIT Outlook. This is not accessible to the public.
How to reserve a space?
MIT faculty and student groups may request to reserve a space by sending a New Event request, based on room availability on the appropriate Outlook calendar. For more information on how to create Outlook Bookings, please see SA+P Rooms (Touchstone required).
Please include the following details in the body of the New Event request:
- Room*
- Date*
- Time(s)*
- Intended users (MIT students, MIT Community, external guests, etc.)
- Name of event
- Event activities (workshop, hackathon, lecture, etc.)
- Will you serve food at the event?
- Are you also requesting access to N52 Makerspaces?
*This information is intentionally repeated from the event date and time section in the New Event request.
The following spaces may be requested (see MIT Outlook calendars for availability):
- MAD: N52-337 Garage Classroom
- MAD: N52-342c Courtyard Classroom
- MAD: N52-399 Conference Room
All requests are subject to review and not automatically approved. You must receive a confirmation email before using the space.
Terms of Use:
- Users must take responsibility for set-up, breakdown and clean-up of rooms. Please include time at both ends of your reservation for this work to be completed.
- Furniture can be moved to accommodate the event; however the room must be returned to its original configuration.
- Deliveries cannot be made to the rooms outside of user’s scheduled reservation time.
Doors are secured via card access, which must be requested separately from the room reservation.
Note: These calendars are for use by MIT faculty and student groups only. Requests from non-MIT affiliates will not be considered.
