Sam Ihns is a second-year graduate student in the mechanical engineering department researching how medical sensors can be better integrated into our lives to passively monitor our health. Prior to this, he has been on the teaching staff for the mechanical engineering department's flagship product design courses for five years. In his free time he enjoys exercise, taking his two cats on walks, and binging reality television.
